About Us
We started in 1986 as a small way to give back to our military family. Fast forward 33 years and our store is thriving!
The AFOSC Thift Shop is a non-profit (503c) of volunteers with a focus and desire to have great merchandise and fantastic prices.
Last year, we donated approximately $68,000 to scholarships and other military affiliated charities.
Donation Only ShopThe Thrift Shop will accept most items year round but prefer seasonally appropriate items. We accept gently worn clothing. Please do not donate items with stains or holes. We DO NOT accept mattresses, car seats, tube televisions, cpu’s, breast pumps, drop down side cribs and hazardous/toxic substances. The shop continuously needs these items for operation. We appreciate your help.
Dropping Off Donated ItemsThe shop accepts donations during store hours, but if you need to drop off after store hours, 2 bins are available on our side porch. If items do not fit in the bins, please DO NOT leave them. This is to avoid damage due to the weather. Also, DO NOT leave donations at the front glass doors. If you have large donation items, please call first to give us time to make room for your item. | Follow us on Facebook! |
Volunteering Opportunities
Our thrift shop relies heavily on volunteers.
If you are looking for a place to give back to your community, make and meet new friends or to find some great deals (because we see them first) this is the place for you.
We will take whatever time you may be able to give.
